Wishlist|Camera Bags

One of the most important things a photographer needs is a camera bag, actually a GEAR bag. There is no better way to prepare for a shoot than to have ALL your gear, from memory cards, to external flashes, to lenses and extra batteries, packed up, ready and waiting before you head out for your shoot.

If you were not fortunate enough to grab a Tracy Joy Bag before Tracy retired from her bag biz, we have a couple of cool pics to put on your list!

My favorite is of course the PINK leather medium bag.
All Medium Camera Bags will accommodate:
• 2 Camera Bodies • 2 Flash • 2 Lenses (dependent on lens size)

All medium camera bags will accommodate these
Miscellaneous Items:
• Memory Card Holders • Batteries • Cables • Manuals
• Filters • Camera Strap • Lens Cleaning Cloths • Expo Disc
• Waterproof Camera Jacket • Camera Card Reader

And lets face it, it’s HOT!

A great selection of bags for ever level of photographer.
I picked up one of these a while back. I adore my tracy Joy, but I had started shooting in open fields and woods areas, and I needed something that I didn’t mind dropping in the dirt.

It holds:
my camera body
100mm macro lens
50mm
85mm
35mm
A handful of memory cards
batter charger
external flash and what ever else I squeeze into the front pouch.

The backpack style is a great relief for my back when lugging this equipment while chasing a feisty 2 year old tot!

A variety of styles and colors, and reasonably priced. I have never seen, touched or used one of these, but they come highly recommended.

Interchangeable flaps are great for adding a little bit of your flair to your gear!

Whether it be any of the above or one we didn’t mention, head out to your local camera store. Check out all the bags. Make sure it is comfortable for you, make sure it holds all you stuff and make sure you tell EVERYONE that you want one!!

They have one suitable for any type of photographer – small fry ones like me, or professionals. And they are customisable and can be made just to suit you. One day I’ll get one!

I have the Jill-e Med Brown bag and LOVE it! It fits my body with grip and 24-105L lens, 2 580exII flashes, 1 430 exII flash, my wide angle, lens baby, tons of AA batteries, extra camera batteries, chagers, cards, silica gel pack and other odd things I toss in. I LOVE my bag!

Oh! That’s one thing that I think everyone should have in their bag, a silica gel pack of some sort. I ordered mine form Midway USA (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=799452) Yes, yes… they sell gun stuff but it works just as well for camera bags!
