Just when I think I’ve looked all through my favorite prop shop finding nothing on this day’s visit, I spy an open curtain exposing a wonderful, messy stacked high, back room. Over joyed, I ask if I could please look in the back.  The owner told me it was stacked thick and I was welcome to but please excuse the mess.

NO PROBLEM! I like a mess like a four year old boy likes mud!

Of course I found a load of goodies that I am having fun using.  Never hesitate to ask to browse the back room when hunting for the perfect prop! These two bucket boxes are just a couple of my finds that day from http://tatteredtiques.typepad.com/.

So I’d like to introduce the newest addition to our PI family… Mrs Sally Roeckell!

Sally Roeckell is a contemporary lifestyle photographer in Barrington IL who specializes in newborns, children, families. Sweet Sally does alot of vintage shopping and junk store mad propping, so I thought it would be a fun idea to have her jump aboard and share her vintage and 2nd hand goodies with all of us fellow Prop Junkies!

Aside from her love of photography, Sally has a busy life as wife and mother of four, which drives her passion to capture simple moments in children’s lives that are so fleeting. We enjoyed testing out one of her hats (seen below).

First of all… the yarn is yum yum soft!!!  And the color is perfectly toned for baby skin.  The craftsmanship that goes into this hat, its unreal, with attention paid to every tid bit and nook of detail.  Seriously splendid in every way, the form of the hat and the way its made… I adore it.  Speaking of adore… it’s adorned with tiny lil pearl like beads, giving it even more of a unique twist.  Twist… did I say that?  Because check out the ends of the hat, the lil tails are “twisted” in a spiral… DARLING!

It’s so beautiful, it even makes babies smile!

3. Select UPLOAD IMAGE… select the image from your pc and upload….
4. Your first image is entered…You can do this up to 2 times (2 images) please make sure they are 900 pixel wide, and sharpened for web. IMPORTANT: to enter your 2nd image, you must give a different “name”, ie: first image named: Tracy Joy, second image named: Tracy Joy2
5. You should now see your image in the linky thumbnail below this post!! YAY
6. At months end the admins at PI will select 2 photos (1 from each theme).
