On my neverending quest for unique props and accessories to have on hand at the studio I came across this adorable shop on etsy called Mahalo.  Mahalo is an ETSY shop made up of 2 sisters that LOVE to create.  When you visit Mahalo you will find original, colorful and whimsical pieces that will add that unique, “wow” factor to your shoots.  These are props and accessories that will encourage kids to be, well, kids!!  We all know that we get the best shots when kids are at play and just being themselves.  Have them put on one of Mahalo‘s crowns or masks or the beautifully sewn capes and your child or client’s child will be transformed!! They will smile and laugh and their true light will shine through.  Just be ready to shoot and capture their sweet little spirits!!  I had so much fun with two little clients of mine, Johnny and Gia.  They are brother and sister and a little camera shy (well, little Miss Gia wasn’t but Johnny didn’t want anything to do with me or my big scary camera when he got there).  As soon as he put that cape on though, everything changed.  He was a superhero!!! How fun are these shots from that day?
