You all know we are HUGE fans of Color Inc. Pro Lab for all of our printing needs.

Their quality and color are the best of the best. Their canvas prints are number one with color so rich, I have yet to find a close second.

I can not even put into words how much I love and appreciate the customer service folks over at Color Inc. Pro Lab. It’s like having a little family over there watching over your work!

Another reason I have recently put Color Inc. Pro Labat the top of my list, is their offerings of Boutique Packaging. Yes, yes many printers offer this service. A nifty little box to present your work to clients. But Color Inc. Pro Labtakes it one step further.

You actually have a CHOICE of box colors. It is limited to 4 colors but YOU get to choose!

I have made it my mission in 2010 to really brand myself… and letting this idea flow into 2011 even further.

Marketing material, thank you cards, stickers, CD Stickers,  and anything else related to my little biz to have a flow. A look that is in sync with my logo and my website.

I was checking out on an order some time ago and needed boutique packaging. I nearly jumped with delight when I saw that I could choose from Black, Brown, Pear Green or Aqua Blue. I decided to go with the pear green. I will never go back!

Confessions of a PROPoholic 2^st Edition {$9 Christmas set-up}

Ist off I have to say… I’m Baaaaaack! I had plans to write a ton of posts over the last few months but having a baby a few weeks back kind of put a wrench in those gears. And yes,the next post from me will be our official welcome to the little lady. But that didn’t keep me from discovering fun new pros to share with y’all.

With Christmas just a week away I wanted to tell you about my favorite Christmas… ”UNDER $10 prop set up” for this year.  As a matter of fact… it’s only $9 and was used by a good majority of my December clients in one way or another.

A hat box and some snowflakes. Simple right?

The hat box is one of my finds from our local Hobby Lobby Craft store. With the holiday sales that they are having right now I got this fabulous red and white damask box for around $6.  The great thing is that I can use it all year round.  The snow flakes came pre-strung with three per string and can be found at Dollar tree for $1 a set. I’ve bought three for this set-up costing me $3.

I just take a dowel, that I already have on hand and attach the flakes to it. In the set-up, the mom or dad held the dowel in the background. It’s the way you use them that is going to make the dramatic effect.  Not wanting to make the shots too busy I use a plain Thunder Gray seamless in these shots. I do that because it’s easy to loose focus when you add a lot to the frame.
I think the end result is dramatic, fun and earns a return on your under $10 investment.
